This Naan Pizza recipe is easy to make, and takes very little prep work. You literally cant go wrong with pizza... for real tho.
This recipe is also a lot of fun to make!
Serves 3-4 (personal pizza style)
Time: 20 Minutes
2 two piece packages of pre made regular or garlic Naan
(you're stupid if you don't get garlic)
1 jar julienne cut sun dried tomatoes in oil (found near produce)
1 red onion thinly sliced
1 container small whole portabella mushrooms thinly sliced
6 garlic cloves minced
1 package Kraft shredded mozzarella
1lb whole mozzarella
1 jar pre made pizza sauce
1 bag pepperoni
1/4 cup Basil
fresh grated parmesan
(like a shit ton because fresh parm is amazing)
a pinch of coarse salt
Step 1) Pre heat oven to 425F, drizzle naan with olive oil and spread evenly, add a sprinkle of course salt, then warm in oven for about 5 minutes. (This step is optional, but I think it makes a difference.)
Step2) After heating up the naan, spread out a thin layer of sauce and sprinkle with fresh garlic, layer 4-5 thin slices of mozzarella, and as many sun-dried tomatoes as you like (let as much oil from the tomatoes as possible drip off before putting onto the pizza).
Step 3) Now add any other toppings you like, in this recipe I use a generous amount of sliced mushrooms, onions, and pepperoni, then top with a fat layer of the shredded mozzarella.
Step 4) Slide your pizzas into the oven for about 10 minutes or until you have reached the desired amount of melty goodness, when finished turn on the broiler and reposition the rack higher in the oven to let the cheese crisp and brown up nicely (about 1 minute).
Plate and serve!
